eRepublik is a War, Economical, and Political Simulator
This is mainly a review.
eRepublik is a simulator. eRepublik took the world and put it online. You can be a citizen of any country, I suggest eUS, and live a new life. The countries are in roughly the same positions as today but, because of war, some of the land control has shifted. You can do anything you want in eRepublik. You can fight in the military. You can be a farmer. You can run a newspaper. You can work in a factory. You can be a merchant. You can run a campaign for political gain. You can start a resistance force and try to liberate a country.
eRepublik features multiple types of currency. One type of currency is specific to your country and is used for most transactions. The other type of currency is gold. You can buy gold with real money or earn it slowly but surely. Gold is required for extra factories and some other stuff. You can progress without gold and you earn it slowly but you can buy it if you are impatient and want to be really successful.
Combat plays a huge part eRepublik, although it’s not very complicated. Almost everyone is a soldier and territory revolves around it. The game even gives you a training grounds when you start. Weapons greatly increase your effectiveness in combat. Weapons are very expensive and don’t get used much before being up, but weapons are extremely powerful and can make the difference of whether you defeat 10 or 20 opponents before running out of health.
Food is also important. Food isn’t expensive but because of the rate it’s used it comes out to a lot fairly fast. Food is what gives you health. You can consume 200 health worth of food every hour. Almost every action costs 10 health. There are other ways to regain health but food is the most common one.
eRepublik is a fantastic game. You can do anything and you have to account for every part of a situation. You have to understand where your food and weapons come from. You have to account that at any time your area may be attacked and captured by enemy forces. I suggest the eUS, or the USA of the new world, as a country. The eUS is very powerful but only #14 in rank but hopefully, with your help, we can make the eUS #1.
