How to Beat Dalton in Chrono Trigger

In the year 12,000 BC you will encounter a boss called Dalton. This Chrono Trigger boss is in the Zeal Kingdom and he shouldn’t be tough for you if you follow these simple tips.

Dalton has 3,500 hit points and can be taken out with one simple strategy. Put a three member party together that can do a triple tech. For example, Crono, Marle and Frog can do the Arc Impulse triple tech attack. With whatever triple tech you use, take it and use it like crazy against Dalton.

Use a triple tech consistently to take this Chrono Trigger boss down.

This is the only strategy you need to finish off Dalton.

If you use this strategy, it should only take about two rounds to get rid of all of his hit points. Don’t bother with physical attacks or magic. Just stick with using a triple tech against him.

If you don’t follow this Chrono Trigger advice, then you risk being struck with Daltons Iron Orb attack. With this, he can deplete a lot of hit points from your team. Just stick with the triple tech strategy and you won’t have a problem finishing off Dalton.

By the way, whatever happened to Dalton will never be known. After he is beat, he gets sucked into a black vortex and vanishes forever. You won’t see him again throughout the game or in the sequel, Chrono Cross.
