How to Unlock Ninja Gaiden in Ninja Gaiden Sigma Ps3

When Ninja Gaiden Sigma was being created for the Sony Playstation 3, the creators decided to pay homage to all of the Ninja Gaiden fans out there. Inside of the PS3 game, you can unlock all three of the original Nintendo Ninja Gaiden games. You can now play them in all their 8 bit glory, without all of the slow downs from the Nintendo NES. There are zero slow downs while playing these old, but good Nintendo games on your PS3.

Maybe your wondering how in the heck its possible to play Nintendo games on the PS3? Well, technically the Ninja Gaiden games were not created by Nintendo, they were made by a third party developer Tecmo. Tecmo can put their games on whatever system they want to. The did do a special re-release of the Ninja Gaiden games for the Super Nintendo. It was called the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy. That was the last time the 8 bit games were released until now. You can now unlock them in Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

So how do you play Ninja Gaiden in Ninja Gaiden Sigma? It’s as simple as getting all of the fifty golden scarabs in the game. Once you have all fifty golden scarabs in Ninja Gaiden Sigma, give them to Muramasa and he will give you a special game disc. On the game disc is the original game, Ninja Gaiden from Tecmo. This isn’t a real game disc, its just a fake one inside of the game. But, you will need to “play” the game disc to access the original Ninja Gaiden. Go to the first floor of Han’s Bar, and then go to the arcade machine. This will play the Ninja Gaiden disc.

You can now play Ninja Gaiden on the Sony Playstation 3 any time that you want to. Oh, and another thing when finding fifty of the golden scarabs. You don’t have to find fifty of them during just one play through. You can take your time to find them all, before getting the Ninja Gaiden PS3 game disc. The game will save this information of how ever many golden scarabs you get. If you get ten, then you can save the game and play later to find the other forty of them. When you get all fifty, then take them to Muramasa’s Shop to get the game disc.

This is so awesome for the company to put the original Ninja Gaiden games on the Sony Playstation 3 system for free. They are all included with your purchase of the Ninja Gaiden Sigma PS3 game. You won’t have to go to the Sony Shop to buy them and download the titles. If you are a Nintendo Wii owner, the story is a lot different. The Nintendo owners have to pay to get the original Ninja Gaiden games. Consider yourself lucky if you own a Sony PS3 system. This is just another great reason to be a Sony PS3 owner, instead of a Wii one. To get all three of the original Nintendo games, Wii owners (when they’re released) will have to pay $15+ for all three Ninja Gaiden games.
