Mw3: K/d Tips
Are you always stuck below 1.00 K/D? Let me help you.
You’re probably coming here because you’re upset right?
Well, let me help you there. When I first joined the Call of Duty community, I was terrible. I’ll be honest with you, my K/D back then was only 0.20. That means for every one kill I get, I died 5 times. In fact, my current career on MW3 looks less then what it’d be if it was done on a monthly basis because of that.
But then I learnt a new style of playing. I didn’t need to do private sessions with friends, I didn’t need to keep commiting suicide to gain those levels. Rather, I changed my way of playing. Basically, here’s what I mean. You are used to running straight towards a red dot, no? Well, I’ve got something to say about that. Don’t ever do that again, unless there are a load of those dots. Reason being is because if that person is still alive, then chances are your team mates are running towards there, and with all the ruckus they are making, the other team is going to come down full force. No, rather choose a portion of the map, and stick with it. Basically, what you’d want to do is in your head, divide the map into 5 parts, and master one of those parts by yourself. So basically, you’d want to go into the private matches, and choose 5 maps a day, and dedicate to learning one of the corners every workings. If you need to, you can choose to have a friend with you to test each location.
As well, learn some techniques for when you run into an enemy. You don’t want to just run straight on and stand there like an idiot while thinking of what to do. Rather, you’ll want to learn the following:
· Drop Shooting
· Quick Scoping
· Camping
Camping is a controversial aspect, but it is never the less a powerful tool to learn. Basically, it’s name is self explanatory. You stay in one area, and kill anyone who comes within your sights. Most players dislike those who camp because it is sometimes annoying when you die 5 times from the same person, but what does that say? That the camper is getting a free 5 kills, or even more.
