Next Gen Consoles

Ok,there are a lot of people who like videogames out there right?And there are new videogame consoles coming out this year.So I’m helping you to decide which one to buy.

Nintendo Wii

I’m going to start with the cheapest which is the Nintendo Wii. The Wii currently cost around 250$. Now just because the Wii is the cheapest doesn’t mean that it’s the worst.The Wii’s graphics aren’t much different from the current gen consoles,but what is different is the way you play it. Instead of using the standard game controller you use the Wii uses a wii remote and nunchuck. The wii remote and nunchuck are used for different things in different games,It can be a gun,a sword ,a golf club,anything. If your not looking to spend alot of money, or you want a new way to play then the Wii looks good for you.

but if you don’t want to get up off the couch or you want better looking graphics you should check out the xbox360. The Xbox comes in two different styles the core system 299$ and the premium bundle 399$. The Xbox’s graphics are amazing compared to the current gen, and it isn’t too pricy, also the controller is normall except it’s wireless.You may be asking whats the difference in the core sytem and the premium bundle. well the core system doesn’t have a 20 gb hard drive, an Ethernet cable, an Xbox live headset , a chrome finish, or a media remote while the premium bundle does.But if you don’t want all that stuff and just want the gaming you should buy the core system.

PS3

Next is the PS3. Sony’s Ps3 also has 2 styles the basic unit and premium. currently the basic cost 499$ and premium cost 599$. The Ps3 also has very advanced graphics and a wireless controller,the special thing about sony’s controller is it also has motion sensors , but it has a standard looking controller. The Ps3 uses blue ray while the Xbox360 uses HD.I’m not sure what the technical mumbo-jumbo means but feel free to look it up if you want.Back to the 2 different styles, the basic unit doesn’t have built in Wi-Fi , chrome trim or Flash card readers,but everything else is included(basic unit also has 20gb while premium has 60gb. The Ps3 games are also rumored to cost more because of blue ray.

So if you don’t want to spend alot or want a new way to play you should get the Nintendo Wii. If you have a little more money to spend or like traditonal gaming you should get the Microsoft Xbox360. Or if you have some money to through around or want a combination of different gaming you should get the Sony Playstation 3.
