Nintendo Video Game Console Pros and Cons
Ever had doubts about video game consoles and how good they are? Well, now you can find out.
This is a guide to the Pros and Cons to every video game console starting from the Game Boy Advanced:
Game Boy Advanced:
Pros:
The improvement of the Game Boy Color is here. There really is nothing great about this except Nintendo treats this as a whole new console and so a bunch of new games are going to be released concerning this. The handheld’s controls are easy to use and the graphics are relatively newer and better.
Cons:
It does not have light unlike many console that we have right now. The battery does not hold that much power at one time.
Game Boy Advanced SP:
Pros:
The improvement of the GBA is here. This has two light options: no light and light. It also has a battery that can last a few hours. It can play the GBA games, GB Color, and GB. The handheld has a clearer sound so the resolution and graphics seem to be better. It really is durable; even when soaked in water!
Cons:
The game screen is too small. More people get altered vision from the game screen and some people say that the whole console is too small.
Nintendo Game Cube:
Pros:
Finally, a better TV game player is here! This has more 3D games and has the resolution of an LCDTV! The controls are easy and one remote is already included. The easy place to hold in your hand makes it comfortable.
Cons:
The set only contains one remote and no memory card, thus making you lose more money. The look of the game cube feels too original and sometimes the resolution is as bad as a GB Color.
Nintendo DS:
Pros:
The update of the GBASP! This can play the old GBA games, plus a few new ones! The touch screen is easy to use and the controls are the same as the GBASP. Graphics are very colorful.
Cons:
The screen became smaller and some of the DS’s features is a little bit confusing. This was generally made for kids and barely any games are rated M for mature. Other than that, everything is fine.
Nintendo Wii:
Pros:
The game cube has been dethroned and a new generation started! The remotes are wireless and you can also do more than play games. All the graphics are fit so you can’t see the tiny dots that make it up. Everything else is the same.
Cons:
The remote’s wireless signal may be weak at times and it uses a lot of batteries. I strongly recommend using the rechargable batteries. Also, some add-on features need payment, which means less money for you.
