PlayStation 4, Sony talks about his next console – PlayStation 4, Sony, PlayStation, Sony console, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Vita, Microsoft, Jim Ryan, Nintendo, Xbox.
The next generation console that Sony may be closer than we all think. All companies have already talked about their upcoming systems, including Nintendo has given a name and year to the next home console, Wii U. Moreover, in recent weeks the rumors related to a new Xbox console, under the name Xbox 720, sen also have soared, but so far Microsoft has not said anything about it.
Now it’s Sony who decides to talk about his upcoming console, without showing anything or give details, makes it clear that will not go much later than its rival consoles. In a recent presentation of PlayStation Vita in London, chief executive of Sony Europe, Jim Ryan, said that while they are working hard on their consoles of this generation will begin to consider the development of its next home console to be launched by the other systems.

Ryan says that “it would be desirable” to launch the console much later than other companies, but for now are more focused on PlayStation 3 by how little has changed in the market compared to previous consoles. In fact, Ryan compares the success of PlayStation 2 with the result they expect from PlayStation 3, which is currently only a small part of the harvest by its predecessor, with more than 150 million systems sold and rising slowly.
Most likely we will have to wait for some of the major video game fairs next year to learn more about the next generation, namely Sony’s bet. Based on the history of all festivals, E3 will be the favorite convention to present their projects, so that it will take to its conclusion in the 2012 edition in June. Meanwhile, we continue to enjoy the current generation of consoles, which still has much to show.
