Server Game Mmofps Crossfire South Korea (Kr) Will be Closed on 11 July 2012
Server game MMOFPS CrossFire South Korea (KR) will be closed on 11 july 2012.

Neowiz Games announced that they will close the service for the game server MMOFPS CrossFire South Korea on July 11, 2012. Neowiz has become publisher of CrossFire in South Korea since 2007 and decided not to continue the services one of the world’s most popular MMOFPS game, and also because contract between the Neowiz and SmileGate the CrossFire developer, has run out.
CrossFire may be one of the most popular MMOFPS game in the world. But in South Korea alone, CrossFire players’ number has been decreasing since and it’s never too produce like other MMOFPS games, such as Sudden Attack or Special Force. That’s why Neowiz decided not to precede new contract with CrossFire publishing in South Korea.
SmileGate, as the developer CrossFire , plans to publish its own CrossFire in South Korea. However, since the entire database as well as the global trademark CrossFire still belongs Neowiz , SmileGate cannot do that. Although it could, SmileGate cannot use the name ”Crossfire” to the South Korean server.
But the players do not have to worry about international CrossFire. Neowiz promised that they would continue to support CrossFire another server in the world, at least until a contract agreement with the publishers of the local server expires and not renewed.
