Ten of The Rarest Nintendo 64 Games

Since there were only 400 games released for the Nintendo 64 system, the list of games considered rare is not very long. A rare game does not necessarily mean it is valuable, it only refers to the difficulty in obtaining it. Several games such as Mario Party three and Paper Mario are more valuable than several games on this list, but it is a lot easier to find them. Here are ten N64 games that are difficult to find.

Harvest Moon

Harvest Moon is collectable for almost every platform it was released, but it is especially valuable on the Nintendo 64. It has held a strong value for quite a few years and is still one of the rarest N64 games.

Starcraft has been one of the rarest games for the Nintendo 64 system for years. Although it has lost some of it’s value over the years, this game is still worth having in your collection.

Ogre Battle

This game continues to be one of the rarest and most valuable Nintendo 64 games on the market. It is one of the rarest Nintendo 64 games on the market.

 Worms Armageddon

Worms Armeageddon has a very established and almost cult type following. This is a game that is definitely worth picking up.

Snowboard Kids 2

The first Snowboards Kids is easy to find but the second one is quite a bit harder to obtain.

Bomberman 64 The Second Attack

Bobmberman 64 was the first 3D entry in the series. Make sure you keep an eye out for the second one instead of the first. There is a big difference in price.

Clayfighter 63 1/3 Sculpter’s Cut

When you are looking for Clayfighetr, be sure that you get the Sculpter’s cut. It is one of the hardest Nintendo 64 games to find.

Super Bowling

In spite of the fact that this game has a low market value, this game was released in very small numbers and is very difficult to find.

Goemon’s Great Adventure

Mystical Ninja is not a particilarly expensive N64 game, but this one is worth putting in your collection.

Transformers: Beast Wars

There are several Nintendo 64 games worth more than this game, but it is fairly scarce and would make a nice addition to any collection.

I checked there was only one “Beastwars” game released for the 64. So I do own the one mentioned above. I was lucky. I seemed to have gotten into the collecting of old n64 games before it became a big boom. I told my friend people were buying up old n64 games because they had seen me do it first! LoL…later!

The Beast Wars game is a strange one. It’s not that hard to find as a loose cartridge but because it was released as a Blockbuster video exclusive, most of the boxes were destroyed so it’s almost impossible to find a boxed copy and those are the rare ones to find.

It was only released in America and Japan and these are relatively easy to find, but I’ve been searching for boxed copy of the US one for years and only ever come across one once and that sold for around $75!
