The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Wiki Guide
The Legend of Zelda.
Today is the Wing Ceremony, a race to determine who graduates and becomes a knight. Zelda’s Loftwing gets you out of bed. You begin in the Knight Academy. Move the camera with the C button and Wii remote. You can sit in chairs and get a blue rupee out of the cabinet. Leave your room and you’ll be in the hallway of the Knight Academy.
Talk to Fledge by the barrels. The guy by the barrels asks you to carry a barrel to the kitchen. Check your map with + and you can see a dining area is just behind the dude with the barrels. Carry the barrel into the kitchen. If your stamina meter runs out (blinks first) you need to put down the barrel. Make sure to not throw the barrel. After you carry the barrel into the kitchen, go back to Fledge and talk to him. He will reward you with 20 Rupees for helping him out.
Exit the academy through the big double doors. Here you can make your first save statue. Here you can save your game — there are no automatic saves like in previous games, so return here when you need to save!
You can run around with A and soon a man will call to you from above. Look at him with Z. He’ll tell you to dash up the boxes near by. Hold A to dash up the crates and from here you can save again if you want. Note that there’s a speech bubble above Horwell. This usually indicates the person has something important to say, either for the Main Quest, or a Side Quest. If you want to help Instructor Horwell find Mia, you can by climbing up the nearby ledge and shimmying around. Push the box against the wall on the landing and climb up and grab the furry creature.
A stamina fruit is on the ground here, you can run through these to pick them up and refill the Stamina Gauge on the fly.
Head all the way up to the top of the stairs to see another stamina fruit on the ground. From here, you can take one of two paths. One path leads you straight to Zelda where a cutscene will commence while the other path is a detour towards a chest that contains a Red (20) Rupee. The choice is up to you to choose which path you want to take. However, taking the path towards the chest is the better option since you get 20 Rupees and the cutscene with Zelda will commence after you head completely down the path (killing two birds with one stone!).
