This Coming From Xbox Fan : Number One Problem
This is part three to my argument with Xbox live.

Damian: I’m doing great, thank you so much for asking. Just to make sure I understand your issue correctly, when you registered your account the age was 19 years old, and for some reason it is still showing as a child account, is that correct?
jarrah: yes
jarrah: i signed up on xbox.com not on my console
Damian: I understand, I’d be happy to assist you with that today.
Damian: Have you accessed the account on your console yet?
jarrah: yes i have had my account for quite some time but i have recently tryed to download some downloadable content but was restricted because i was “to young”
Damian: Please follow the steps in the link below. If your account is over the age of 18, you will be able to promote your account to an adult account.

jarrah: i have tryed promoting the account but i do not have a parent account on the xbox which i really dont understand
Damian: From the main dashboard, go all the way over to the right. Then go to privacy, and try changing the privacy settings.
jarrah: hold on one second ill just start up my console
Damian: Perfect, let me know when you get there.
jarrah: ok so i am on the privacy settings
Damian: Great, try changing the settings.
jarrah: i have recently change the setting so that everything is allowed
jarrah: but the same problems are still there
Damian: When you change the settings, does it prompt you to enter in an adult windows live id?
jarrah: nope
Damian: What is the error message you get when you try to promote the account?
