Why You Should Get The New Dsi Ll

In case you didn’t know the DS is made by Nintendo and is the successor of the GameBoy Advance. The handheld has dual screens, built in WIFI. Released in 2004 to Japan, USA and Canada player can use the stylus to navigate on the bottom screen. Nintendo releases two other versions from the first which people refer to as the DS Phat. The first of the two was called the DS Lite which was release in 2006 and the other is called the DSi which was released in 2008. The DSi features a faster GPU and RAM.

Here are some of the reasons why you should get the new DS LL:

*Nintendo Wifi Connection Service ran by Nintendo. The free service which allow players to play games on the Internet with little or no hassle. Launched in 2005 for Mario Kart DS players can connect with each other through a wireless router or an Nintendo Wifi Usb Connector.

*Download and play. Players must have their systems within wireless range (up to approximately 60 feet) of each other and the guest system to download the necessary files, they use one game that allows two player to play on it at the same time.

*PictoChat. User can use the DS to communicate through the LAN. Users can send messages or handwritten or drawn images to other DS handheld. User can also use chat room A,B,C or D that allow a max of 16 users.

* Backwards compatibility with GBA games. Player still play there game from there previous handheld. The DS only uses only one screen and only allow for single player gaming and not multilayer with these games. Note: It is not confirmed that the new DS LL will have the same backwards compatibility.

Some accessories which can be bought for the DS which can improve the gaming experience are:

Rumble Pak: This allow the player to fell a vibration when getting hit or when a player bumps into obstacles. Note the DSi doesn’t support this feature due to the removal of the GBA slot.

Headset: The head seat connects to the earphone port and the microphone port. Note: The DSi has a built in microphone.

Browser: Allow player to surf the web. This feature allow can be accessed by all DS and you should know this a great feature which some how the XBOX360 doesn’t have.

Wifi USB Connector: This accessory allow users to connect to the Internet through  the small USB connect which emulate an wireless router.

MP3 Player:It can play MP3 but a peripheral to use it.

*Guitar grip controller: Exclusive to DS, this come bundled with Guitar Hero with a stylus shaped like a guitar pick.

Nintendo has sold 113.48 Million DS handhelds. Nintendo face many problems with piracy however they have made a console which is for anyone big or small. DS bring to the table which no other has ever seen. Sized for the pocket the DS can be carried anywhere. Using with my personal experiences tell me that I should get this new console, hours pass just looking at the features or playing great games like Mario, Call Of Duty, Scribblenauts and may more. Take the advice and purchase the new handheld when it comes out.
