How to Get The Master Sword in Zelda Link to The Past

After the beginning dungeons in the game it will be time for Link to journey through Hyrule and get the Master Sword. The Master Sword is required to face the main villian in Zelda Link To The Past. Follow this article and you will find out where the Master Sword is in this Legend Of Zelda video game.

You can only get the Master Sword in Zelda Link To The Past after you have completed the first three dungeons in the game. You know that you have finished them, when you have the three pendants in your inventory. After you’ve got all of the three pendants, Link will be able to pull the Master Sword out from the pedestal.

When you first start this Zelda game, you want to start from the sanctuary. Go down past the bushes and to the path. The path goes either left or right, you want to go in the left direction (to the west). Keep following this path west until you come to a red house. You probably have been in here before, the fortune teller is inside. Now just to the right of the house is a path going north. Take this path into the lost woods.

It is here in the lost woods where you will find the legendary blade, the Master Sword. This sword is in almost every Legend Of Zelda game. Now that you are inside of the lost woods, you’ll see a path going north and west. Take the path going north. Follow it through and you will see a little tree stump house. You can ignore going inside this house for right now. Now go northwest of this house, you don’t want to go directly north.

If you go northeast you’ll find a dead end with a false Master Sword. There are a lot of false Master Swords in the lost woods. Go northwest of the little tree stump house and you will see two huge logs with holes. Take the log that is on the left. Go all the way through and come out the other side. Now go south and you’ll see two bushes that are together. Use your sword to cut these two bushes down, so you can go to the other side. Go to the other side of the two bushes, and continue on the path that is going north.

On the way to the next log with a hole in it, you’ll see a mushroom. Go ahead and pick up this mushroom, it is an important Legend Of Zelda item that you will need later in the game. Just north of the mushroom is another log with a hole in it, going north. Go inside this log. When you come out you’ll see a set of four bushes. Cut the bushes and continue going west. You will find another huge log with a hole in it. Go inside and head in the south direction.

When you come out and go to the west, you’ll see two different huge logs going south. Do not go south in these huge logs. They lead you to nowhere with false master swords. Instead, take the huge log that is going north. You’ll see this log just north of the two ones that are going south. This is the final log to take. Go inside this log going north, and you will go into an area with the real Master Sword. You can use the Book Of Mudora to read the inscription on the pedestal the Master Sword is on.

This is how you get the master sword in the third Legend Of Zelda game, Link To The Past. This Nintendo game was first released on the Super NES back in 1991. It has been released for other video game systems, and was most recently released for the Nintendo Wii. You can download this Zelda game from your Nintendo Wii console through the Wii Shop Channel.
