Ninja Gaiden Sound Test NES Code
Remember playing the classic Nintendo game of Ninja Gaiden? There were a lot of codes on the old Nintendo game system, and now you can relive the sound test code for this game once again.
Have you dug out your Nintendo Entertainment System out of the closet? You probably remember that many games back in the day had codes to punch into your controller. If you remember correctly, you need to input this code at a certain time on the title screen. Load up your Ninja Gaiden game, and wait until the title screen says “Tecmo Presents 1989″. Does 1989 sound like a lifetime ago now or what? Now you need to put in the code at this exact time, or it will not work.
Now, quickly punch this combination of buttons on your NES controller. At the same time hold down the following buttons: Hold A, B, Down, Left, Select and then push the Start button. If you did this correctly you should now have entered into the Ninja Gaiden sound test menu. This code will still work on your Nintendo NES system.
This game is over twenty years old now, and has been released on other systems. Does the sound test code for Ninja Gaiden work on other game systems? Ninja Gaiden has been released once again on the Nintendo Wii game system. There has been plenty of time for Tecmo to remove this code if they wanted to.
Thank goodness, they didn’t remove this classic NES code from the game. If you download Ninja Gaiden on the Wii Virtual Console, you can be rest assured that this code will also work on there too. Now, you don’t have an NES controller for your Wii, you can still use one of the classic Wii controllers to do the combo of buttons.
While the Wii classic controller is not shaped like the NES controller, it still has all the A, B, Start, Select and directional pad buttons. All these buttons are on the original classic controller and on the pro version too. This is why you can now also input this classic Nintendo code on the newer game systems.
