Nintendo Wii Fit Plus Release Date and Trailer
Nintendo announced earlier this year that they were developing a sequel to the popular Wii Fit video game. The new game is finished and will be released shortly here in the United States. The original Wii Fit sold an impressive 15 million copies around the world, and now Nintendo is excited to bring you this sequel.
The original Wii Fit sold an amazing 15 million copies around the world. This is almost the same as how a stand alone video game console sells. With the popularity of the Nintendo Wii Fit, the company decided to develop a sequel to the game called Wii Fit Plus.
If you already own the Nintendo Wii Fit board, you won’t need to purchase a second one to get the new game. The new game will be sold separately without the Wii Fit board. Also like the original, you can purchase the new game, with the board if you don’t already own it.
The new Nintendo Wii Fit Plus is scheduled to be released on October 4, 2009. The new game will feature brand new exercises, yoga routines and balance games. As a Wii Fit Plus player you will be able to customize your workout routines and you will even be able to target specific areas of your body for exercise.
When you buy the complete package with the Wii board and the Wii Fit Plus game, this will be at a retail cost of $99.99. The new Wii Fit software game will be sold separately for only $19.99 for current Wii Fit owners. Nintendo talked a lot about the new Wii Fit Plus game at the Electronic Expo show this past summer.
