I’ve decided to stop making walkthroughs because for one thing I suck at making them, and also people should just play the game without walkthroughs. Anyways this is a guide on how to make AMAZING money.
Alright, first thing you need to do this is access to the second hole in the clouds; the volcano place, and more importantly the thrill digger game. You want to start off with about 200 rupees in case you suck at thrill digger, or you just get unlucky. Thrill Digger is a sure way to make huge profits all by itself, or you might lose everything. When you get there go don’t pay the guy around back anything, all he says is that green rupees have no bombs around them, blues have 1-2, reds 3-4, silvers 5-6, and golds 7-8. I have found this only true in beginner mode because the higher difficulties have rupours, which completely screw up the system. Beginner mode costs 30 rupees per play and you can make up to 90 or so rupees without the treasure. I play it just like minesweeper; first I find a random spot never on the outside, hope it’s green, then go from there. Most of the time I double my money, and about 1 in 5 I get all the rupees and hit no bombs. This is the great money part; when you get all the rupees the guy gives you a golden skull! That’s an additional 100 rupees right there. If you don’t already know about the treasure shop go to Skyloft and sleep until night, go across the bridge and into the gear shop owner’s house. After talking to him he says that he buys treasures at night. Note that he only buys 4 different items each night, luckily he has a bed you can sleep in until he wants golden skulls. Sell for 100 rupees apiece.
