Which Next-gen Console Should You Buy?
Nice little guide to help you.
Hello, Once more I shall be doing a guide on which version of something you should you buy. This time its about a more general topic: next-gen consoles. So which one should you buy, well I’ll tell you right now.
Xbox 360 – Its only good for its popularity, however most of its features are inferior or equal to the PS3. So if you like a popular, system, like having the system with the most people online, this is perfect for you, sure the exclusives just add but not as much. I don’t know why this system is so popular, it just is. Cheapest price for the system is 200 dollars, however 300 dollars for the better version is a bargain. But please do note, even though it doesn’t happen as often, the red ring of death is still likely to happen, and this is still the system with the highest failure rate.
PS3 (Playstation 3) – Not as popular, but still a very well built system. I chose this over the Xbox 360 since I didn’t have to pay for the online. I’m glad I did, or else I would have been stuck with a red ring of death 360. So buy this system if you like blu-ray player with games and everything. A nice music and movie player. A PlayStation store similar to the 360 marketplace, free Internet, and good exclusives that compare to the 360 exclusives and better graphics, Blu-ray vs dual-layer, its a given win. Cheapest price $ 300, $ 400 for upgraded.
Wii – Nintendo has done a lot with the Wii, that makes it a great system. So why is it so great? Well really it reaches out to non video gamers, with games such as Wii Fit, and Wii Play. It also has full movement for some games, but most games don’t use much movement at all. Overall its a fun family system. That is a key factor in buying the Wii, it is a family system. Other systems don’t focus much on family games, however the PS3 does have a very good one called Littlebigplanet. Even though the Nintendo Wii does reach out to non video gamers, BTW I read that in a review of the Wii and I’m not making that up, it still has many fun games for the gamers. Few of them are very obvious, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Metroid Prime Corruption, most sports games from EA also get ported to the Wii. They’re starting to make more games that use the Wii Fit board, which is pretty cool. There are many other games, and many to come, out to provide a challenge for both gamers and non gamers. But on the account of who should buy this system, mostly non gamers who are looking for something to play, but gamers can for the games that provide the challenge, and the games that are made for the non gamer, but hardcore gamers should look into the PS3 or 360. (BTW I did extend this description because of Zuburi’s comment). That is about it for the Wii, cheapest price $250, probably comes in bundles with other games too.
So go out and buy the system knowing all this info.

Shut up just shut up.Wii – Nintendo has done a lot with the Wii, that makes it a great system. So why is it so great? Well really it reaches out to non video gamers [...] That is about it for the Wii, cheapest price $250, probably comes in bundles with other games too.
Just shut up. You are a snob / elitist
Hey man calm down, just want to let people know what they’re paying for, also I edited the Wii description that gamers might find more attractive, but honestly the Wii is just not for hardcore gamers, its for people who are a little bit of a gamer, and young gamers, or for parties, however it is a great side system that usually accompanies a 360 more than a PS3, but I’ve seen it done both ways.
Well I’m sorry I misunderstood your point (Just too many ” Wii Graphics suck” people out there.
Here’s the point; Wii is famous for it’s movement device and such and PS3 because of San andreas, Bully, and FPS.
The only hardcore stuff that PS3 has is FPS, people who say they are hardcore gamers say they played GTA, Gears of Wars, Call of duty and all other games. That is NOT hardcore actually I believe PS is the definition for bad gaming. PS is for those who want to spend time not backwards
You’re right about that too, the Wii is good for movement, you’re probably not going to read this as this is 10 days later, but I did forget to mention the Wii is good for its controllers or peripheral devices. The Wii graphics are better than the gamecube so it has improvement there, but most people who say Wii graphics suck, are mainly comparing them to the ps3 and 360 graphics, but lets face it the Wii isn’t all that great with its processor and ram, its not made for that. It’s made for what a normal user/gamer are looking for, and also Nintendo is making so much money since it sold so much, and it is so cheap to build, and they care about the gamers, but lets face it the main thing or business corporations is to make money no matter what business they’re in and Nintendo is doing well for its business, not saying that the Wii is bad. And you’re also right about hardcore gamers saying they only play FPS games, because that’s basically what it’s all about. Everyday in school I hear about COD, Halo 3, and all that stuff. I’m a FPS gamer myself, not hardcore though, but I still like to play the Wii sometimes, but then again I don’t really think SSBB can cut out FPS games for me but that’s just me.
Dang that was a long comment I’m going to make it into an article.
