Could Nintendo make the Ultimate Wiimote?
Do you love to Wii? Apparently so.
Nintendo is taking back over the living room, boasting huge market share gains against rivals Sony and Microsoft, by double digits! With millions of users already, and millions more projected to jump on and start playing, Nintendo will need to focus on how they can continue to innovate, so with much thought and the help of Paint Shop Pro, here is an idea I’d like to call Wiimote 2.0
Nintendo’s revolutionary WiiMote 2.0 would include a microphone and have the capability to use VOIP services like Skype. It will also have increased built in memory allowing easy transfer of Mii’s and games that are compatible with the Wiimote. It will also be able to download news and weather updates remotely and allow you to view them anytime instantly along with capability to play MP3’s and store, and edit photos with a technology I’d like to call Wii2Go, you could
be reaching for your Wiimote even more than you do now.

I don’t think they will ever release a wii remote 2.0. They did release a peripheral with extra motion sensing technology. It’s a good idea, but I bet it won’t happen this year.
