Zumba Two Review
The latest game from the global zumba franchise has just been released, but is it any good and have they improved on the first installment which was only released eight months ago?
The Zumba 2 game was released at the end of November and just like the original game, which came out back in April 2011 it is available on the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 games consoles.
As a family we love the original Zumba game and I have to say that the latest installment is a huge improvement on the first Zumba game. The version of Zumba 2 we purchased is for the Wii and it is so much faster and requires more effort and technical ability then the original Zumba game.
This step up in pace and difficulty is a good thing as it gives you a really good workout, however the game does not have a work out planner like the original, which is a bit of a shame. Other then that I can not recommend this game highly enough.
As with the previous game the are three difficulty levels and three lengths of work out. The easy level is a really good challenging work out and gives you a good chance to get used to the speed and complexity of the Zumba work outs. This not only allows new users to get to grips with the Zumba routines, but also allows you to fit a workout into what ever free time you have available. Once you have got the hang of the beginner level you can work your way up the difficulty level and burn even more calories.
The combination of the new workout routines, music and vastly improved speed and graphics make Zumba 2 a fantastic fitness game, which will not get you fit, but will also entertain and keep you interested in playing again and again.
The main user of Zumba 2 in our house is my wife and she tends to be on the Wii every night working out. Our two young daughters also really enjoy joining in and dancing along to the music.
