New Microsoft XBox Coming in 2010?

Rumors on the internet are flying that Microsoft is secretly working on releasing another gaming system next year. Will they release the next Xbox system next year?

During the last E3, Microsoft announced that they were releasing a new motion controlled device for their current Xbox 360 system. Since this announcement, many rumors have been circulating the internet that Microsoft will release a new incarnation of the Xbox next year.

One rumor suggests that Microsoft is going to do the same thing Nintendo did this generation. Nintendo came out with the Wii, which was only slightly more powerful than the Nintendo Gamecube. One prediction has said that the next Xbox will include the new motion sensing controls, with only small upgrades to the actual Xbox system.

Microsoft has officially made a response, and says the rumor is 100% false. There will be no new Xbox system next year. The company says they will not release their next Xbox until HD television sets become more mainstream across the United States. Why? Because the next system will take advantage of these sets with never before seen 3D visuals in video game consoles.

This more than likely rules out any new Xbox system for the next couple of years. The next Microsoft Xbox system may not be released until sometime after 2011. It could be a few years, considering that is the time it will probably take for HD TVs to make it into most of the homes in the United States.
