PS3 Vs Xbox 360
The PS3 has a wide variety of games but so does Xbox360. Now which one is better? The PS3 has a built in blu ray drive which allows you to watch u ray DVD’s. While the 360 allows you to connect to your computer to acces files like music and videos. You get FREE online play with the Playstation 3 while with the Xbox 360 you have to pay. The Xbox 360 has way more durable accesories like headphones and contros while the PS3 controls are not very durable.
Backwards Compatibility
Xbox 360 excels PS3. The PS3 does not support any PS2 library as it does not have PS2 functionality. Alternatively, you can buy a used 20GB or 60GB if you want a backwards compatible PS2. This can be considered as one of the drawbacks of PS3. However, Microsoft has allowed backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 and the online library if the console is adding original XBOX games regularly.
Other:
The PS3 is the only gaming system that allows the user to install Linux, it doesn’t allow game play while operating in. Microsoft is planning to upgrade Xbox 360 and working on a version of Linux that can be installed on the console.
PS3 is a completely region free gaming console meaning you can play imported games. Xbox 360 has the best graphic power and its GPU allows it to perform way better than any other systems. With Playstation 3, some games require mandatory installation to the hard drive, but with the 360, you have the choice of installation.
Both the video game consoles have their own strengths and shortcomings, and both are tremendously successful.
Which one is the best? It depends on what you like.
