Xbox 360: the “New” Joy

Kids and adults find joy in new video game products.

Have Xbox’s, Wii’s, and Ps3’s taken over the industry? Does Bill Gates really make $10,000 a second? (Creator of Microsoft)

The idea of these products is to have some joy and power in video games. But my favorite part is online. Xbox live for example, you can play anyone around the world on any game that hosts xbox live! Xbox live is also another way Microsoft makes money. When people buy xbox points or xbox live, there are extra features that can cost a lot. Video Games can cost anywhere between $20-$180! That includes rock band and guitar hero which contains drums, guitar, and a microphone. These companies have found a way to get more money out of our pockets because of these extra features. Why do people get “new” joy? That’s because of the feeling that everyone gets when they win or unlock something. Whether it is children or adults enjoying the game, there are many games for different age groups.

When will these games go out of style and why? The question is when and why did N64, game cube, xbox, ps1, and ps2 go out of style? More and more systems are made and they make it pointless in owning a previous product.

RPG games are based on the Dungeons and Dragons model–and use most of the same rules. D&D has been around for over 30 years and is still going strong.
