XBox 360 vs. Playstation 3

You must be thinking “Wow, Playstation 3 owns Xbox 360! I has the best graphics and it doesnt get the Red Ring of death, plus Online is free”. But each console is unique.

First, let’s talk about Xbox 360. The 360 is cheaper, but you need to pay for Xbox Live. Xbox Live is better than PSN, but it costs $59.99 a year. The Xbox 360 breaks more often though, but there is a 3 Year Warranty on General Hardware Failure(Red Ring of Death). Another bad thing about the 360 is that it scratches discs, and you need to buy a $100 Wifi Adapter. But, Xbox 360’s graphics are better than Playstation 3’s(Look it up).

Now, time to talk about the PS3. PS3 is more expensive than the 360, and PSN is free. It also has Blu-ray, and it doesn’t break as much as the 360. A bad thing about the Playstation 3, is that it is not backwards compatible(I think that’s what its called), so it can’t play Playstation 2 and PlayStation 1 games. The console is also big and heavy.

XBox 360

Pros:

• Xbox live is better
• Better Graphics
• Cheaper
• Year Warranty

Cons:

• Xbox Live costs $59.99 a year
• Scratches discs
• You need to buy a $100 Wifi Adapter
• Can get the Red Ring of Death(General Hardware Failure)

Playstation 3

Pros:

• Blu-ray
• Less likely to breal
• PSN is free

Cons:

• Costs more
• Cannot play PS1 and PS2 games
• Xbox Live is better than PSN
• Console is big and heavy
