Now many people will argue that when talking about online games…or just games in general you cant go past Final Fantasy. Their probably right, but Final Fantasy XI is up there with some of the best games like WoW. You are in a world called Vana’diel and your job is to fight against the beastmen forces. Much similar to WoW and Lord of the Rings in terms of its genre, Final Fantasy XI comes in at number 4 in our list of best onlne games.

Finally on the list of best paid online games and coming in fifth is of cousre Warhammer. Much like WoW, Warhammer is much more PvP (Player vs. Player) orientated. So dont be afraid of getting bored. In guild wars you take on the role of a female character and you are taken away into a fantasy world. You can to quest, fight with or against eachother, it really doesnt matter! Guild War is porbably the best “free” MMORPG game out there at the momement.

Next on our list, and coming in at 7 is the one and only Runescape. Love it or hate it ….there are millions of opinions out there. Infact over 130 million opinions to be exact, with that being the number of player that have played runescape. Runescape is probably the first experience of MMORPG you will see and it is a fantastic game considering it is browser based. So if you dont have a beast of a computer that screams power when you turn it on then you’ll probably find Runescape a fantastic game. Recently Runescape went through a refurbish with the graphic being updated. In runescape you can do just about anything. However one thing you must keep in mind before starting this game is you have to have alot and i mean ALOT of patienence. But with patientce will come rewards. Also in order to everything in the game you should consider paying a small membership fee, however needless to say the free content the game provides will keep you going for hours. 

Want less time leveling up and more time actually getting to the real stuff, then you cant go past Perfect World. Perfect World is a fantastic online game that again is constantly updated. Perfect World adapts a questing system that rewards player with experience and hence allowing them to “level up” much more easier as there are vast amounts of quests within the game. Although not as well known as some of the other games its is still a fantastic game that should not be passed by lightly.

If your on the look out for a fun game that can make you laugh, let you play seriously and at the same time allow you to talk to other people around the world, then this is the game for you. Unlike the trailer, Maplestory itslef is not a 3D game, but with that said it is by no means a bad game. It is a fantastic game where you join millions of other friends and make some awesome friends. Maple story really does focus in on the multi player aspect and takes seriously the social side of online gaming.

Finally on our list of top 10 MMORPG games is Adventure Quest! Similar to maplestory in that its is 2D but at the same time it is much like runescape in terms of its combat. Adventure Quest may not be up to the standards in comparison to games like WoW, but if your on the lookout for a fun MMORPG game and your new to the world of online gaming then be sure to check out adventure quest.
