10 Pc Games That You Can Get Cheap

During the credit crisis some budget gaming is in order.

During these economic times, the PC gamer needs to get their fix a cheaper way.

these are my 10 cheap pc games…

10. Grand theft auto- vice city, Expect to Pay- £4.00, $5.00

this game is an excellent game, a tad dated in the graphical department but still has all the things you would expect from a current gen game. great story and voice acting but a somewhat small city

9. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Expect to pay- £2.50, $3.00

although the visuals and lack of voice may put some people off, morrowind is believed by some to be the best elder scrolls game. its an absolute bargain and i purchased it for £2.50 at my local exchange shop.

the story is phenomanal, taking you through the vast region of morrowind allowing you to do anything, the mod community is a real benifit (there are even mods to improve the graphics to oblivion standards)

8. Sid Miers Civilisation IV, Expect to pay-£5.00, $7.00

This EPIC game will have you checking your watch and saying ”HOLY S**T ITS 4:00am” more than once. it is an amazing turn based strategy beast where single games can last 12 hours or more. multiplayer is a must in this game with team based and free for all modes for your pleasure.

7. Battlefield 2, Expect to pay- £9.99, $15.00

This Multiplayer-centric shooter from DICE is an adrenalin pumping experience, with 6 classes to choose from ranging from Medic to Heavy gunner you’ll never be bored. With 64v64 matches you will never be alone.

this is a must buy for all shooter lovers, oh and did i mention YOU CAN FLY JET PLANES!

6. ANY total war game (except for empire), expect to pay- £5.00 to £10.00, or $10.00 to $15.00

these games are brilliant, a simple premise: what if YOU controlled one of the great factions in the historical world.

the mix between real time and turn-based is effortlessly sewn together and the graphics are impressive even today.

5. Fable: The lost chapters, Expect to pay- £9.99, $13.00

Peter Molyneux’s epic fantasy game is a breath of fresh air in the crowded RPG genre, with its quirky feature which include the ability to get married, kick a chicken and punch an old man in the testicles this game falls nothing short of mind blowing. the voice acting is top notch with regional British accents being a audio treat. the lack of main quest is filled by the limitless possibilities and numerous side quests.

4. The Sims 2, Expect to pay- £8.00, $12.00

if you have never played a sims game you must be living under a rock in Mongolia, with the 3rd iteration out, now is the perfect time to pick up a copy of the famed SIMS 2 and maybe a couple of expantions.

this game doesn’t need an explanation its just the sims, classic

3. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Expect to pay- £10.00, $15.00

The beautiful sequel to Morrowind and my personal favourite Game, despite its issues it is a huge game with well over 200 hours of game to play, with amazing graphics and a full voice cast there is no excuse not to buy, you might even want to spend an extra quid or two to get the expansion pack, Shivering Isles which adds even more content, a must have for RPG fans

2. Call of Duty 2, Expect to pay- £5.00, $8.00

although Modern Warfare 2 is out, CoD2 is an amazing game in its own right and with mods you can even turn it into modern warfare.

1. Half Live, Expect to pay- 13p!, 20c!

13p! one of the most influential shooters ever for mere pittance, this game although looking rather dated is one of the best gaming experiences you will ever get your hands on, please for the sake of games everywhere, buy this.
