Assassin’s Creed 2: Information
Assassin’s Creed stunned an awful lot of players with its perfection. Now Ubisoft is releasing the sequel.
Assassins Creed; indeed an awesome game. If you haven’t played it, I recommend buying it. If you already have played it, you should look here for some extra info on the very open ending.
Unlike Assassin’s Creed, AC2 is going to take place in Venice – or Serenissima Repubblica di Venezia, in 1486. Assassin’s Creed 2 is going to be about the young man, Ezio Auditore de Firenze, who is the son of a rich and powerful father.
The people behind AC2 announced, that unlike AC’s main character (Altäir), Ezio starts as a novice-assassin. “Something is going to happen to him, and then he joins the Assassins,” that’s how the statement sounded.
In case some of you don’t know, 1486 is the age of the Renaissance. In that particular time, Leonardo da Vinci was 34 years old. Who knows?
As the book “The Da Vinci Code” states, Leonardo da Vinci was in the order called “Priory of Sion” (And no, it’s not fictional. Both Priory of Sion existed, and Leonardo was in it.). Maybe the creators of AC2 have found a way to fit that fact in the game? Anyhow, it’s a fact that Leonardo da Vinci is somehow connected to the Assassins. In the E3 Demo Trailer for AC2, they show the Leonardos flying-machine. And they also said it was gonna be in the game.
There’s several “upgrades” from AC to the new game, Fx. can your character now swim – for a limited time, though.
You have 2 blades
Instead of 6 (Sorry if I’m wrong…) investigation missions, there will now be 16.
More variation of gameplay
New ways to hide in crowds.
Besides from this, the creators also promises a more living crowd, with better AI and such. Instead of NPC’s walking around doing nothing, they will actually be doing something.
Assassins Creed will be released on November 17′th.
