Borderlands 2: Initial Impressions
Everything’s better.

Greetings, dear readers. I was lucky enough to play the sequel to Gearbox’s “space western first-person shooter/action role-playing video game” on launch last night, and was quite impressed. The graphics, (I updated my GPU for this one, too) at first glance, have gotten way better, and there’s a frantic fluidity to gameplay that builds on the first one. The characters have more personality, and the first game’s weak plot isn’t here, there’s some solid storytelling, too. The procedurally-generated guns have way more things to them, too.
I only have two issues that I miss from the first game: the action keybind fails to reload like it did before, and the loss of the radar down below has me kind of lost in combat, until I get used to fighting without it.
This game is unbelievably pretty, and with an application that takes screenshots at intervals, I might just journal my adventures through Pandora here.
Sounds like a game thanks for sharing this.
you are a good review-er for gaming …keep working
