Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2009 is the best Cabela’s game to the date. The variety of animals exceed expectations and probably makes this game one of the best hunting games in history. You can go to many different locations, starting in Russia going halfway around the world to your next hunting grounds. The weapons in this game may be phenomenal, but the hand-to-claw combat beats any other game. The hand-to-claw combat is sort of like a mini-game where you fight predators such as lions, tigers, and bears with a knife as they charge at you with the intention to kill. This is probable the best part of Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2009.
FAQ
How do you climb the tree in British Columbia?
You can only climb the tree when you are being attacked by the bears. You can not climb the trees after killing the bears. This is because the trees are for safety for fleeing from the bears.
Where can I find all of the tigers in India?
When you look on your map, you will see you are on one side of the river. You will not need to cross the river. One tiger is by the ruins on the left side of your map. Two of the tigers are in with the ox-like animals in the middle of the map. Try not to kill to ox-like creatures, because the tigers will literally jump onto the oxen, giving you time to shoot it. The final tiger is on the left-hand side of the map.
Where do you find the capybara in Ecuador?
You can find the capybaras running around on the little islet you are on. They are very small, but easy to shoot when you find one. Try using the eye-like icon at the top right of your screen to find it. When something of interest is in front of you (like an animal) it will light up. When it is dim, then something of interest is in your perhiprial vision. So just search. I found two of them during my hunt. Also, be patient. They can smell you, so if you have some scent cover use it.
Where is the leopard in Nambia? I’m on the “x” on the map, but I can’t find it.
For the leopard to attack you you need to pick up the wounded man by pressing “A” or “X” (depending on the game system). Walk down the trail to the village and the leopard will attack you. quickly drop the man and pull out your gun. Don’t worry, the man will be ok. If you don’t kill the leopard on the first try, pick up the man and repeat the process.
How do I save Rodrigo at the plane site? It only gives me 5 seconds to save him. What do I do?
Saving Rodrigo is a tough one. you have too look all around and at least shoot towards the leopard. but, finding him could take a good amount of restarts. But, once you shoot the leopard, he will stop attacking Rodrigo and go for you. Kill it and Rodrigo is rescued.
How do I track the mountain lion in British Colombia?
This task, like the one above, may take a few tries. Use your hunter’s vision to try to spot him and follow him to his cave. Once you are in his cave, you will have a one-on-one fight with him. This is the end of the mission.

go to the “extras” menu and select “enter special code” then enter:

I have made it all the way to the village in Namibia, but it won’t let me in because I have not shot the Leopard yet. “X” marks the spot and according to my compass map I am standing on “X” but I am not seeing the Leopard? The elephants are having a great time tearing me up while I try to find a way into the bush to find the Leopard! Is there an opening to go into? I see what seems to be a rope hanging from the tree, but can’t seem to get to it, something keeps stoppig me? Any hints would be appreciated.
In Equador at the plane crash site how do you rescue Rodrigo everytime i go near the smoke in the plane crash the onscreen message say that rodrigo is dead and when you restart from check point it just gives you 5 sec and then it tell you he is daed and you are not able to save him…HELP!!!!!!!

How you track the mountain lion to the baiting area:
First you go in the direction it ran, then you have to get into hunters mode and you’ll see it’s tracks. Switch from hunters mode to normal to get along faster.
Bears in Thailand: One bear is by where you first start out as a hunter, the second is across the water once you go down the ravine towards the left, the last is across the meadow in the woods where the jungle is. (Stick to the side to avoid the elephants)
Nambia: Morgan, DON’T move (Or you’ll die) at the first part from the jaguar. Once you shoot it and it runs, the monkey will come down the rope… Watch the monkey and don’t move. Once the monkey starts to squeal & run, the jaguar is coming. Get ready and possibly go in hunters mode so you can see the jaguar better. If the monkey doesn’t come down a third time, back up or venture closer into the woods. Get ready for the jaguar to jump out at you. It’s easier if you go into adrenaline once the jaguar jumps. (Thats the advantage) And when you see red spots on the jaguar shoot it directly at that spot.
