Call of Duty Four Review

This was very anticipated by myself, i was looking forward for this since teasers and clips started on the internet, so i got this game on release day and i have not been disappointed, i have mostly been playing online because i think its online mode is simply incredible, in my opinion its the best online game out at the moment, it beats halo 3 by a mile.

So online is very good, it has many weapons and customizable features for all weapons, there are challenges and also plenty of unlockables and ranks to keep you gripped into the online action. You have challenges you can set yourself such as kill X amount of people with a headshot using the ak47 and more, theres so many challenges and ranks to build up that its hard to become addicted to it.

The single player mode is fantastic also, its got good plots and a few cut scenes, and you have many types of action that goes on, such as using night vision and lasers while raiding a building, and shooting missiles out of a helicopter, theres many weapons and explosives and so on that you can use throughout the campaign also, so it does not get boring.

Unlike other games alike, such as rainbow six and ghost recon, you don’t have to lead a team, so you don’t have to make sure they are not dieing and healing which can be a pain, in this your part of a team so you control yourself, and not team mates and so on. 

The animations in this game are fantastic, instead of games where you shoot someone and they just collapse like a rag dol, in this game if you shoot someone they will react how they should, like falling down, holding thier wound.

Something which makes this game unique is that you can shoot your enemy’s through the walls, so say online you are having a team battle, if you use voice communication, you could get your team to go like a circle round the building, then you could all just open fire, taking out enemys inside, also another good point is that instead of being killed online and then you respawn, you can quickly pull out your pistal and try and take out a few people while your on the floor close to death, also you can pull a pin off a grenade to blow yourself up taking an enemy or two with you, so when your shot, the game is not actually over.

The graphics are very very good, online and offline the graphics are incredible, the scenery, explosions and fire are very realistic, i think the makers really put as much effort as they could in this, compared to call of duty 3, its a huge step up and this is a game which is going to be an all time classic.
