CoD: WaW Achievements Guide and Map Pack 2+3 Achievements

These are ordered in the order I think you will unlock them.

COD WaW Achievements:

Saved Private Ryan – 10G – During the part where a burning banzai attacker is attacking a soldier on your side kill the burning attacker to unlock this. 

Close Shave – 10G – Just wait for any banzai attacker to run up to you and start a QTE sequence. Simply click the melee attack at the right time to get this achievement.

Carlson’s Raiders – 10G – Awarded for simply completing the first mission on any difficulty. To get it quickly play on recruit.

Snake In The Grass – 15G – During the mission Little Resistance you will see a banzai attacker climbing a tree, simply call in a rocket strike where he is climbing the tree before he finishes climbing the tree.

Weapon of Mass Destruction – 15G – At the end of Little Resistance when in the bunker, you have to destroy two tanks and to your left you have to call in a rocket strike on the banzai attackers in the trenches. Once you have done this the achievement should unlock.

No Safe Place – 15G – Once you have obtained the flamethrower in this level, burn a random tree to kill the banzai attacker to hear this achievement unlock.

The Professional – 15G – This achievement is quite simple while many people seem to have trouble doing it. When the bombers fly overhead look to your right and the Nazi soldiers should be lined up to kill with one shot. If you miss one, you have to restart the mission. Next straight ahead wait for the soldiers to line up before firing. Then look left and wait for the soldiers to line up and fire. Finally a soldier will come with a dog and shoot the soldier before shooting the dog. You have to SHOOT the dog not knife or the achievement won’t unlock.

Rough Economy – 15G – Once you unlocked the above achievement climb over with Reznov and head to a car to your right alert the soldiers with one shot and they will run at you in a line. Simply shoot down at them and hopefully this achievement will unlock. This may take a few attempts.

Gunslinger – 15G -  See this video, however the pistol is in the same room where you have the sniper battle.

Or you can snipe the bodyguard and when the general runs from the armoured truck spray with the pistol in that area.

Stormed Peleliu – 15G – Once you have completed the mission Relentless, this achievement should unlock.

Iron Fist – 15G – This is an fairly easy achievement but it is easy to miss getting everything. Here is a list of the locations of the towers and bunkers.

Towers:
1. Red water tower just after you turn the first corner.
2. Red water tower directly behind the water tower mentioned above.
3. To the left of the far-left of the artillery gun.
4. To the right of the far-right of the artillery gun, in between the two bunkers, which you might as well destroy while here.
5. Behind the bunker on the right hand side.
6. To the far right, you will see it to the left of a tank on top of the hill.
7. Before you turn right to destroy the Radio Tower you will see some Russian soldiers running across a field, look into the distance and you will see a red water tower.
8. To the left hand side of the Radio Tower.
9. To the right hand side of the Radio Tower.
10. Behind the left side of the big bunker.
11. To the east of the big bunker. Use the star objective to work out compass points.
12. As you come over the hill you will see it to the left of the trenches with a tank in the middle.
13. To the right of the previously mentioned tank.
14. As the planes fly over they destroy this tower but make sure they do.
15. The furthest right you can go, north on your compass, next to some concrete blocks.
16. Follow the concrete blocks down to the left, you should see it as you drive into the train station.

Bunkers:
1. To the right of the far-right artillery gun.
2. This bunker is on the right hand side of the fourth tower mentioned above.                                                   3. When you right in to the field with the Radio Tower look to the left slightly and there is a bunker slightly hidden in the trees. The rockets you see flying at you from the bunker is a good indicator where it is.
4. You will definitely see this bunker as you come up the hill. There are two parts to it, left and right, make sure you destroy it all.

Note: You can go back afterwards to check you have destroyed them all before destroying the last tower at the train station.

Ruthless – 15G – Towards the end of the Ring Of Steel mission you will be given the chance to be in the machine gun turret of a tank and all you have to do is kill 15 soldiers while mounted.

Shot in the Dark – 10G – While in the subway in the mission Eviction, the lights will randomly go out and when the lights do go out you simply kill 10 soldiers. You can do this by spraying with the PPSh when the lights go out, but the better method is to knife enemies and use the aim assist feature off Call of Duty 4. 

Lights Out – 10G – Simply shoot out all the flashlights on the merchant ships when attacking the merchant ships. Remember to use the bumpers as well as the triggers when firing.

The Sum of All Zeros – 15G – Watch this guide for help. It will be quite rare if you get this achievement first time.

Mortar-dom – 10G – When you are on the mission Breaking Point you will come across boxes of throwable mortars. Simply pick them up by holding X and throw them at your enemies until you get 8 kills with them, they are still fun to use even once you have done the achievement.

Guardian Angel – 10G – In Breaking Point you will come across some Japanese soldiers “surrendering” however they are suicide bombers and when they start to attach Roebuck, kill the soldier attacking him.

 The Last Stand – 20G – This achievement unlocks once you have completed all the objectives in the mission Breaking Point.

Stabbed In The Heart – 20G – This achievement unlocks after the mission Downfall when you plant the Red Army flag above the Reichstag.

War Hero – 40G – Simply unlocked for completing the game. You get this when it is playing through the tapes showing the end of the war.

Kamikaze – 15G – Do this on Semper Fi  on normal difficulty. When you start of go to the left bridge run and knife everyone until you get to the round hut. In the Round Hut there should be a arisaka bayonet. Take it and complete the rest of the level with it simple. After you have planted the charges just run to the boat and set off the scene.

Firestarter – 15G – Easiest to do on Burn ‘em Out. Make good use of your smoke grenades and frag grenades. Also when you flamethrower is overheated use melee and watch out for the red barrels as well.

Throw a Six and a Half – 15G – I did this on Black Cats of hardened difficulty which is extremely easy to complete without dying. Simply get rid of the PT boats as fast as you can and you won’t die.

Purple Heart – 5G – A pointless but easy achievement to get. Do this achievement on Veteran difficulty and simply die 20 times.

Grave Robber – 15G – This video shows the locations of all the Death Cards

Get Your Left Foot Wet – 30G – On Co-operative at the main menu click Xbox Live and find a game for Campaign Co-op for Recruit difficulty. Just finish the mission and you get this achievement.

Get Your Right Foot Wet – 30G – Same as above but for Competitive Campaign. You can finish in any place.

Blue Ribbon – 25G – This one may take a while as some annoying people always seem to leave when you are winning. So get 3 other friends and do a Competitive mission with them and simply come first. Easy.

Get Your Hands Dirty – 30G – Complete Semper Fi on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

Bloody Peleliu – 30G – Complete Little Resistance on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

The Sword Is Broken – 30 G – Complete Hard Landing on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

Architect – 30 G – Complete Vendetta on Veteran difficulty See Hardened. War Hero for help.

The Hammer Strikes – 30 G – Complete Their Land, Their Blood on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

Scorched Earth – 30 G – Complete Burn ’em Out on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

Fearless – 30 G – Complete Relentless on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

Hell On Wheels – 30 G – Complete Blood and Iron on Veteran difficulty. Don’t stop moving in this mission at all. Don’t bother trying to do the Iron Fist achievement, just complete the main objectives and get this achievement.

No Return – 30 G – Complete Ring of Steel on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

When It Rains, It Pours – 30 G – Complete Eviction on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

One Bad Gato – 30 G – Complete Black Cats on Veteran difficulty. In this mission your main priority to complete it is to get rid of the PT boats, you don’t have to rescue the survivors.

Blowtorch and Corkscrew – 30 G – Complete Blowtorch and Corkscrew on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help. This, I feel, is the hardest mission on World at War. The mission itself is not that difficult, the difficult part is assulting the ridge while there is a MG gun. Another tip is to: NOT WASTE YOUR SMOKE GRENADES.

Setting Of The Sun – 30 G – Complete Breaking Point on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

For The Motherland – 30 G – Complete Heart of the Reich on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

Bearing the Burden – 30 G – Complete Downfall on Veteran difficulty. See Hardened War Hero for help.

Hardened War Hero – 100G – Follow the points below to help do the missions on Veteran difficulty.

1. Don’t go to far away from your team-mates when attacking enemies of you will get overrun.
2. Don’t forget to move up as in some places there is an infinite spawn of enemies so you could be there forever.
3. Make use of your RB button as there will be so many grenades coming you can’t run away from them all.
4. For missions like Burn ‘em Out for the MG turret and Blowtorch and Corkscrew when assaulting Wana Ridge Smoke Grenades are your best friend providing lots of cover and probably saving your life lots of times.
5. Stay in cover a lot of times throughout the Pacific campagin, as there are lot of banzai tree snipers so a little part of your body sticking out could get sniped.

Map Pack 2 Achievements:

If you are going to get the Map Pack 2 achievements on Shi No Numa I would advise you to play with 3 other players you can trust.

Soul Survivor – 50G – For this play with a team of 4 people and help each other out as if someone is being overrun by zombies, kill the zombies.

Hammer Time – 10G – This achievement is one you can do by yourself. Simply kill all zombies on the outside on the first round leaving one zombie constantly pulling down boards and just stand next to the window holding X.

Weapon of Minor Destruction – 20G – Again you can do this by yourself on the first round. Let all the zombies in and shoot them one by one. If one of them drops a nuke kill the zombies until there is only one left, then use the nuke.

Big Baller – 30G – This is a hard achievement to get if you are inexperienced a this game. Play with four players if you cannot survive by yourself up to the rounds 25+. To easily get this get the Wonderwaffe DG2 and use that on large groups of zombies constantly.

Perk-a-holic – 20G – Just buy a perk whenever you see the perks vending machine. Make sure its one of each however.

Big Brawler – 30G – This requires some luck in getting an Insta Kill at around round 3-6 and skill in getting the ten consecutive melee kills. I would advise you to get this achievement solo.

It’s a Trap! – 20G – This video explains how to get the achievement.

Fertilizer Man – 30G – This achievement is one you will get for being good at the game but I would again advise you to play with other people. This time play as a pair and make sure you help each other out. When you think you are near 200 kills, STAY ALIVE!

Deadhead – 30G – Again you will need skill to get this achievement but you may also get this achievement from simply progressing to the further levels of the game.

Dead Air – 10G – Simply look at the telephone in the communication room for around the time it takes for this achievement to unlock.

Map Pack 3                                                                                                                                                              

These achievements are earned through the Der Riese Nazi Zombie game on the Map pack 3.

Locksmith! – 25G – To get this achievement you just need to simply open all the doors. So rack up some points and open the doors. By opening all the doors it will make it easier to get the other achievements in this map pack.

The Might of The Monkey – 25G – Just get the Monkey bomb from the random weapon box and use it. The Monkey Bomb counts as a special grenade and you may get the Acquire Waffle Weapons achievement as well.

Wacker Packer – 25G – Just simply upgrade a weapon at one of the machines located on the map. It is fun the have a upgraded Wunderwaffe gun.

Der Electrician – 25G – This is got by linking all the teleporters before round seven. Since you are doing this you will also help get the Frequent Flyer achievement as well.

Frequent Flyer – 25G – If  you have already linked all the teleporters this achievement will be made easier for you. For this achievement just use the teleporter 8 times.

Acquire Waffle Weapons – 25G – This is down to luck as it will require you to have a lot of points and to get the Wunderwaffe DG-2, Ray Gun and the Monkey Bomb in a row on the 4 random weapon boxes on the map. If someone else on your team has the Wunderwaffe or Ray gun you will not be able to obtain this achievement.

Perkaholics Anonymous – 25G – You will this achievement by surviving up to round 20 with buying a single perk. It is best to do this with a friend(s) as other people might be less willing to not buy perks. It is quite easy to survive up to round 20 if you are fairly good and have good teamwork.

Pack Addict – 25G – Earned by simply upgrading 5 weapons at the Pack a Punch Machine. Since it does not say in 1 game you could get this achievement over time easily.

40 Knives – 25G – This achievement is earned by killing 40 zombies or dogs with the bowie knife.Just knife 40 Zombies or Hell Hounds.

Elevate Your Senses – 25G -  This video explains how to get this achievement.

Secret Achievements:

Its All About Prestige – 0G – Simply get to First Prestige online.

Go Get Some Sun – 0G – Get to Tenth Prestige. Fastest way is to play lots of Search and Destroy. About Ten Days of Playing Online. If your are better playing in a team than by yourself, Headquarters would be a better game type.
