Castlevania Timeline

The Castlevania games are tied in with Bram Strokers Dracula. The main idea of the Castlevania serious is the Belmont clan are the only one’s able to wield the whip known as the Vampire killer. Dracula is resurrected  every so many years and when that time comes the Belmont’s are called on to destroy him. Since the video games are made out of order i have put them in order for you here excluding the games developers have removed from the official timeline. It should also be noted that Death (The Grim Reaper) appears in almost every game as Dracula’s right hand man.

1904-Lament of Innocence

This is the first game in the time line. Leon Belmont sets out to rescue his wife from the vampire Walter only to find that his friend Mathias manipulated Leon into defeating the vampire walter to obtain the ebony stone which he uses to become Dracula. This begins the feud between the Belmonts and Dracula.

1476-Castlevania 3 Dracula’s Curse

Trevor Belmont sets out to defeat Dracula who has awakened to early. Beside his goal of conquering the world Dracula’s new goal is to kill the Belmonts who sealed him away years before. Trevor joins forces with a few characters including Alucard Dracula’s son. In later games it’s revealed that Trevor may be Alucards son.

1479-Curse of Darkness

This game centers around Draculas former henchmen Hector. His goal is to stop dracula’s curse that is left from when Trevor defeated him 3 years earlier. On his way he encounters former ally Isaac who will stop at nothing to see dracula’s curse destroy the world. He also encounters Trevor who seeks to stop the curse but is unaware Hector is his

ally this time.

1576-The Castlevania adventure

Dracula emerges 100 years later planning on the Belmont’s being long gone how ever a decedent of the Belmont’s stands in his way Christopher Belmont. Christopher confronts the demon king but he flees in fear he is not yet strong enough to defeat a Belmont.

1591-Belmonts revenge

The count kidnaps Christopher’s son. I never have actually played this game so i know little other than that.

1691-Castlevania

100 years later Dracula returned again and was promptly defeated by Christopher’s great grandson Simon Belmont.

1698-Simons Quest

Simon is informed that Dracula cursed him before there last fight and he only has a limited time to live. To break the curse he need’s to gather Dracula’s body parts in order to resurrect him and burn him to break the curse.

1748-Harmony of Dissonance

Simon’s grandson Juste Belmont sets into Dracula’s castle to rescue his friend. His friend Maxim accompanies him in attempt to find Dracula’s body parts. He end’s up being possessed by the body parts and is defeated by Juste.

1792-Dracula X

Richter Belmont’s friends are kidnapped by Dracula in order to lure Richter to his castle. Together with his friend Maria they free there friends and defeat the count once again.

1797-Symphony of the night

A evil wizard Shaft attempts to resurrect Dracula. He curses Richter to keep him out of his way when Dracula’s son Alcurd awakens from his sleep to defeat Shaft.

1897-Braum Strokers Dracula

Quincy Morris and his son John defeat dracula. In Castlevania Bloodlines it is reviled that Quincy and John are of Belmont decent.

1917-Bloodlines

Dracula’s niece Elizabeth attempts to resurrect her uncle by harvesting souls to revive him. She starts World War I to harvest the souls of war. She is defeated by Quincy Morris, Son John Morris.

1944-Portrait of ruin

Count Brauner is attempting to resurrect Dracula once again. John Morris’s son Jonathan sets out to stop him but first he must battle the last Belmont Richters soul in order to wield the Vampire Killer and defeat Dracula.

1999-The Demon Castle Wars

Nostrodamus predicted Dracula would rise again and he did. Julies Belmont and his allies defeat Dracula and seal him away forever this time.

2035-Aria of Sorrow

Dracula is searching for a new host having his body permanently destroyed by Julies years before. Soma the main character is transported to Dracula’s Castle were he meets Grahm Jones who is attempting to have Dracula reborn inside of him. Soma is accompanied by Julies Belmont and a mysterious man named Genya Arikado who is revealed to be Alucard. Soma later learns Dracula is being born inside of him. He must defeat Dracula’s soul to prevent being turned into Dracula.

2036-Dawn of Sorrow

A women named Celia attempts to awaken Dracula inside of Soma. Soma and his allies Yoko, Julies and Alucard team up once again to put the threat to rest.
