Rcon Commands

Welcome to my article about Rcon commands. First let me tell you what actually Rcon is. It stands for “Remote Control” and it is a very powerful tool which gives the person who uses is full control over the server and so it is recommened you give the Rcon command to some one you completely trust you he does not mess up with your server or even destroy it. To access the Rcon you have to first choose an Rcon password which can be done when you are launching the server and it says Rcon password in this case we will use “Daium”. Connect to your server ad when you are there go in the console and type: 

rcon_password yourpassword

In our case:

rcon_password daium 

Once that is, you have successfully accesed the rcon tool. Now the following are the rcon commands which you can use to do various things with the server. Remember you will have to put rcon before the command for example:

rcon changelevel de_dust2

The following are the command:

1. Changelevel Map_name   This command is used to change the level

2. Kick PlayerID   This command is used to kick a person, kick daium

3. Users   This command is used to list the current players names with id and wonid.

4. sv_password password   This command is used to change the server password

5. sv_restart time   This command is used to restart the server, replace time which value up to 10

6. restartround time   This Command is used to restart the round, replace time which value up to 10

7. mp_friendlyfire #   This command is used to change Friendly fire, Replace # with 1 for on and 2 for off

8. mp_roundlimit #   This command is used to change the amount of rounds before map change, 

9. mp_roundtime #   This Command is used to change the round time, replace # with value

10. say text   This command is used to send a messege from the server

11. cm_say @@r text   This command is used to send a color msg, replace r for different colors like g=green

12. quit   This command is used to restart the server

13. mp_startmoney #   This command is used to change the starting money, replace # with amount

14. mp_buytime #   This command is used to change the buy time, replace # with time

15. mp_autoteambalance #   This command will turn auto team balance on, replace # with 1 = on and 2 for off
