First World War II Game by Square Enix in Development
Square Enix, a Japanese game developing company is going to develop the very first World War II game, in cooperation with real-time strategy expert Wargaming.net.
The game ‘Order of War’ is the very first Western developed game that will be released by Square Enix. Square Enix is cooperating with Gas Powered Games.
Gas Powered Games, a company in Seattle, is known from the game ‘Supreme Command’.
Order of War is a real-time strategy game that focuses on the second World War. Players can own and control huge armies.
The scenarios are divided in two campaigns, Americans versus Germans and Germans versus Russians.
John Yamamote, director and CEO at Square Enix Limited, announced that he is very enthusiastic. “Order of War gives Square Enix the chance to enter this very popular genre.”
