On September 7, 2012, Phantasy Star Universe game servers will be closed, but the single-player mode still can be played. This announcement came from GM Phantasy Star Universe, who said, ” This was not an easy decision but there comes a time when we must consider the level of service and support we can provide for an ongoing game, and balance those concerns against preparing for the future, and providing you with new opportunities and new experiences.  “

Phantasy Star Universe is a genre Action RPG game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Xbox 360, PS2, and PC simultaneously on October 24, 2006 for the North American region. In Japan, this game was released on August 31, 2006 for PS2 and PC, while the Xbox 360 version was released on December 12, 2006.
