Grand Theft Auto 3: San Andreas Multiplayer

The grand theft auto series were always on a high stance in gaming. The built-in open multiplayer wasn’t implemented until GTA:IV although GTA2 had LAN.

San Andreas Multiplayer (SA:MP) is a modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which turns it into a multiplayer game. You can play over the Internet (or LAN) with up to 200 other people. You need the original Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PC game to play San Andreas Multiplayer.

In SA:MP you are able to do almost anything that you can do in single player GTA. SA:MP also features the ability to create your own scripted game modes. There are many game modes that feature a series of different and fun things to do. Many of which are not possible in single player.

Download the client from http://sa-mp.com/download.php

Install it.

When you run it select the game exe’s directory, choose a username and play.

There are thousands of servers in the “Internet” section most of witch haven’t got a lot of players.

A little less servers in the “hosted” section, but most of them have a lot of players.

And finally the “official” section has a few servers with about 100+ players on them.
