Three Games with Amazing Background Scores
To make a game successful, the gameplay and graphics maybe the most important factors but the things like background score are very important to set the player’s mood right. Here are three of my favorite games whose background score is simply awesome.
Call of Duty: Black Ops:
Call of Duty: Black Ops was released on November 9, 2010 for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii. A separate Nintendo DS Version has been released. It is the third Call of Duty game developed by Treyarch. More than 5.6 million copies of the game were sold within 24 hours of the game’s release. Quite frankly the game deserved it. Black Ops is an excellent game with exciting gameplay and awesomely written story. Coming to the soundtrack, it consists of 30 songs. The game features beautiful songs perfect for the war environment. It really makes the player get into the war atmosphere. The music was composed by Sean Murray, the composer of its predecessor, World at War.
Crysis, a beautifully designed first person shooter was released on November 2007. One of the main reasons why Crysis will always be remembered in the gaming history is because of its revolutionary graphics system. The game consists of thrilling escapes, aggressive shootouts and sometimes stealth too. The graphics of the game are not the only thing that made Crysis such a big hit. The Soundtrack was composed by Inon Zur. It consists of 22 beautifully composed songs that increase the fun of game. The instrumental music is so epic and fills the player with adrenaline. Many users who have Crysis also have the soundtrack files.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas:
Before you say that GTA: SA has a compilation of songs, I just want to say that it is one of the best compilations ever. The theme music itself is very famous and awesome. The soundtrack consists of ‘90s style music. The makers (Rockstar) did a very good job in bringing all the songs together. There are many diverse radio stations in the game. Even though the songs may sometimes feel repetitive, one doesn’t generally get bored. A full list of songs from the game can be found here.
