Improve Graphics in Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim came out in November 2011 with great graphics, and a giant explorable world filled with beautiful environments and landscapes. Thanks to the community of the users however you can tweak the game to make it even more high-end.
Skyrim Nexus is a must if you plan on modding Skyrim. The site offers various HD texture packs which do not decrease the performance of the game. You can also download improved shader mods, filters to make the game even more cinematic, new weapons, armor, buildings.
Furthermore some mods offer Skyrim the ability to use up to 4GB RAM instead of the default 2GB limit, while others increase framerate in critical locations like big cities.
Most of these mods are very easy to install, needing online copying files into the games folders. You should however always make copy of important files before overwriting older ones in case the game becomes unstable (which is really rare).
