Minecraft 1.8

Minecraft 1.8 has been leaked recently.  The version at this moment is the pre release version.  Recently, Notch has announced that he was okay with it being leaked.  It could have been used for bug finding purposes.

There are many new things such as

• Fence Gates
• Glass Panes
• Iron Bars
• Melons
• Melon Seeds

There are new abilities such as

• Bow Charging
• Jump Attack ( Critical Hit)
• Critical Hit itself
• Sprinting

There is a new mode called Creative.  Blocks can be broken instantly and any block can be placed without having it physically in your inventory.  You can fly by double pressing space and to drop double press space again.
There is a new biome code so there may be vast widespread forests with vines as well.
There are three new mobs

• Enderman
• Silverfish
• Blue Cave Spiders
