Nazi Zombies: Portable Goes Online, PSP Owners Rejoice
Boisson rambles on…
It’s official: Just yesterday night, the NZP team released the first ever public alpha build of Nazi Zombies Portable just in time for Christmas.
But first, a little overview on the game first.
Nazi Zombies Portable is an open source game to be released on the PSP and PC based on the Quake 2 Engine, intending to recreate the Nazi Zombies gameplay seen in Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty: Black Ops. You can either play as a singleplayer or a multiplayer online over the Quake Network, in which you battle for survival with an array of guns while hordes of angry zombies destroy your base.
The game in itself is still not finished, (hence the ‘alpha’) but despite being slightly buggy and the controls being a little sticky I found myself having a truly enjoyable experience in both the Single and Multiplayer modes on PC. The single-player even has a ‘Save’ Option, allowing you to return to a previous point in a game – mighty useful if you’re snowed in with no internet.
I’ll say no more – Play the game here.
