Pinsir is a bug type Pokemon and resembles a beetle with horns. Depending on which Pokemon video game you are currently playing Pinsir’s special ability can either be Hyper Cutter or Mold Breaker. Even though Pinsir has been a bug type Pokemon for every single Pokemon game, Pinsir does not even learn any bug type moves! Even though that last sentence was kind of a random fact, it is time for the official random facts about Pinsir.

Pinsir is another Pokemon that always has been considered a safari Pokemon. In almost every single game Pinsir is found in the Safari Zone or national park. There are only a few of the games where Pinsir is caught outside of the Safari Zone. Even though Pinsir is only in that one location mostly, Pinsir is in almost every single Pokemon game! If Pinsir is not in the game you need it to be in you can always either trade or migrate to get it in any game you want. The only games you would need to do this for though is Red, FireRed, and Diamond! Pinsir may seem like a great Pokemon but really all Pinsir is is a tank. Its defense stat is very high but despite the horns on its head the attack for Pinsir is really low. It may also be the fact that most of the moves that Pinsir learns are not that strong.
