Resident Evil 6? Eight Years, Are You Kidding Me?

Oh yes you read the title right, Resident Evil 5 has been a big hit generating a lot of income for Capcom. You know what Capcom absolutely love more than big hit games? They love making big hit sequels to games, oh yes Capcom love their sequels as we all know. Now according to resident evil 5 producer Masachika Kawata he said and I quote “We haven’t decided whether we’re going to make Resident Evil 6 yet… But if we do, it could take anywhere up to eight years, but hopefully only four.” Yes again you read that right…eight years! Well maybe four years silly us to think making a sequel could take eight years, now I’m not one to criticise..yeah right. Here is how the resident evil saga has gone so far in terms of game releases.

Resident Evil came out in 1996, Resident Evil 2 in 1998, Resident Evil 3 in 1999, Resident Evil 4 in 2005 and Resident Evil 5 in 2009. So by those calculations Resident Evil 6 should be out in…2017, now I don’t know about you but do you really think it’s going to take that long.

Well at least for now we have the other resident evil games to keep us occupied, that should last for ohhhh about a month or so before we all get bored and ache for more. Keep an eye out for future updates on resident evil 6.
