Resident Evil 6: Project Omega – Make or Break?

Let’s start with the basic facts of what we know and we can all decide for ourselves whether or not this will be a hit.

In production by Fourth Crusader Studio; Resident Evil 6 is rumoured to be potentially the largest event ever to happen in the series. Although not much is actually known of the plot we do know how this is going to start.

We wake up in an Umbrella research facility in Antarctic with no memory of preliminary events. Slowly making our way through the facility we begin to stumble on some gruesome looking corpses, the player then knows that they’re in for more than they bargained for.

With little information on the full plot or any of the gameplay it is hard to glean much from just the introductory trailer but some facts have been slipped to loyal fans, avid for the game. We know that for the first time ever the game will be in First Person which leaves room for a lot of error as the production team haven’t had any experience in producing a first person Resident Evil. This will change the entire feel of the game; we’ll never know what’s behind us or what’s around the corner. Chilling, I know. We know as well that it’s based around the Wesker Children Project which in itself promises to sate the fans’ appetite!
