This friendly dinosaur of Yoshi’s Island native first appeared in Super Mario World for SNES, as an assistant to Mario and Luigi. Appeared as the protagonist for the first time in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. The Yoshis can have different colors, although the most common is green. They have great skills, such as laying eggs and toss them at enemies, breathe fire, fly, etc..
