Mario Kart Wii

Mario Kart Wii is due for release in U.S.A. and Canada in Spring 2008. Here is some information about it:

The Wii Wheel

This wheel will be available to buy with the game. It will be used to control the movement of the karts and will make the game play more interesting and challenging than the old games.

Online Play

Just like Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii will feature online play, but it will include a battle mode and up to 16-player races.

Tracks

Mario Kart Wii will include many classic tracks such as Yoshi Falls and Peach Beach. It will also include various new tracks too.

Characters

There are many confirmed characters for Mario Kart Wii, and some unconfirmed.
Confirmed characters: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Toad, Donkey Kong, Waluigi, Wario, Koopa Troopa, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Bowser Jr., Petey Piranha, and Boo (making his first appearance in Mario Kart).
Unconfirmed Characters: Daisy, Birdo, Toadette, Paratroopa, Diddy Kong, King Boo, Dry Bones, R.O.B., Shy Guy, Donkey Kong Jr., Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Blinky.
Mametchi will not be making an appearance in Mario Kart Wii.

Items

Many of the old items used in Mario Kart will be kept, but many new items will be making an appearance in Mario Kart Wii!
