Super Mario Kart Wii
A gamers review of Mario Kart on the Nintendo Wii.
Mario Kart along with steering wheel accessories is in my view the best multiplayer game the Wii has introduced to date. The fun of Mario and the rest of his entourage are given a fun boost with the Wii steering wheel and multiplayer options. The game provides a competitive racing façade but twists it into the Mario way of life with the chance of picking up items such as banana skins, rocket boosters and bombs to gain advantages during your 3 lap grand prix.
It’s so much fun to play with family and friends bringing the Wii simulation to its peak by using the Wii steering wheel as you battle your way to victory. The ‘V’s’ option gives players the chance to race on any of the unlocked venues as well as using any of the Mario characters and type of vehicle. Beginners are best to select ‘automatic’ as the computer will then automatically assist your kart around bends without losing pace and keeping you well in tact for victory. When you become a little more accustomed to racing on Mario Kart then manual ‘drifting’ around corners can be mastered by the user with the aid of the ‘B’ button on the wheel. Depending on how well you use the ‘drift’ control determines if you gain any speed boost advantages.
The game does hold compelling single player options too offering grand prix titles to be won and balloon popping team modes. You may not be racing at Silverstone but I’m sure you’ll find that the Flower Cup and other circuit tournaments just as important! With locked items gnawing at the gamer it makes single player mode just as addictive and enjoyable. These incentives will keep you playing and playing until you have them at your disposal but the game itself will always offer that fun factor on the Wii for ever more. Added to this the fun loving characters and actual game play really makes Mario Kart Wii Super!

great write!
