RuneScape King Dagganoth Hunting Guide

King dagganoths, described by many as one of the most fun things on runescape they are p2p only. The fun thing of those creatures is that you need a team to kill them. The whole cave where they are hiding in is based on teams and when you’re going in there alone you’ll be having a hard time. In this guide i will explain you what to take with you, i won’t be telling you to take guthan armour with you in this guide because alot of people just don’t have the money for guthan armour.

What skills do i need?

Combat level 80+

 As a ranger level 80 ranged +

as a mager level 50 and 55 slayer for slayer dart

Defence 70+

prayer 43+

agility 30+ not necessary but it’s useful

What kind of team?

a balanced team is the most useful one:

2-3 rangers, 2 mages, and 3-4 melee

What do i wear?

You need someone who’s taking two rune throwing axes with him.

The things im telling you to wear are just examples you don’t need to wear them but this is what i find useful.

as a ranger:

  • Archer Helm
  • Obsidian cape or a skill cape
  • Amulet of Glory
  • Crystal bow karils cross bow or a magic shortbow
  • Black Dragonhide Body
  • Rune or Dragon Platelegs or plateskirt
  • some good recipe for disaster gloves
  • Boots
  • Ring of Wealth
  • Teleportation items (teleport home)
  • 6 Prayer Potions ((4) recommended)
  • 2 Super Anti Poison Potions ((4) recommended )
  • 2 Ranged Potions ((4) recommended)
  • Sharks

as a warrior:

•  
  • Warrior Helm
  • Obsidian or skill cape
  • Amulet of Glory
  • Abyssal Whip
  • Dragonhide body
  • Rune or Dragon Platelegs or plateskirt or barrow legs
  • Elemental of Mind Shield from elemental workshop

as a mage:

  • 300 Death Runes and 1200 Mind Runes when using Slayer Dart, if not use  runes voor ancient Blood spells

as a mage i would recommend to use the slayer dart, it makes you cape able of also having a good range defence bonus since your magic bonus doesn’t Mather when using slayer dart, and since one of the dagganoths is using range it will be useful.
