RuneScape – The Bandos Gwd Series – Soloing General Graardor

Introduction

The God Wars Dungeon (GWD) is one of the most dangerous areas in Runscape. It is a place where people go to pit their skills in combat against some mighty gods of Runescape for various riches (Hilts, armour pieces, unique weapons, etc.). These gods are – Bandos, Zamorak, Saradomin and Armadyl. If this is your first time, try to bring items you are willing to lose. Hopefully anyone reading this guide will know how to enter the dungeon, getting the killcounts and etc., so I won’t need to go through that.

Bandos, is the without a doubt the best god to fight for people who are new to the GWD, as the strategy to deafeat the boss – both solo and in teams – is quite simple. Also, the level requirements aren’t as high as the other gods, like Armadyl, so many lower leveled players can choose to kill the Bandos boss (General Graardor), as well as the fact that in teams, which is where most new players would go, it is really easy to last up to 6 hours in a trip, which is difficult for the other gods.

This is Part Two on the entire Bandos section of the God Wars Dungeon, including killing the boss in teams, solo and what can be done outside of the boss room.

An Insight to Soloing

Bandos isn’t really that easy to solo, decent solo’ers only manage 3 kills a trip on average. There are two ways you can solo, ranged or melee. Both require very high stats and some basic knowledge of the GWD. Therefore, I don’t recommend newer players to the GWD to solo.

This is an obvious statement, but, ALWAYS GO TO A NON LOOTSHARE WORLD! This way you won’t have to worry about teams that may crash you.

Ranged method:

This method is not the one I would recommend, since the boss has fairly high ranged defence, but if you are a player who has high ranged, then you might want to try this method out. A good solo ranger can manage 2-3 kills a trip on average (thats is, 99 ranged and defence).

Recommended stats:

90+ ranged

85+ defence

85+ hp

70+ prayer

68+ summoning 

Note: Players can solo using ranged with a lot lower stats then the ones above, I just think the above stats would be the most efficient when soloing.
