The Hottest Racer This Christmas

Well lets start with the most famous race series of all time… “Need For Speed.” The first thing that must be said is that they have significantly improved from Pro Street, and going back to the Mostwanted style of game play has been a real bonus. Undercover has gone Hollywood with actors and big cut scenes which makes the storyline a pleasure to watch.  One main thing Undercover has the that Midnight Club is the wide variety of excellent cars ranging from the legendary Ford Escort Cosworth to the new Bugatti Veyron. The police intelligence has improved making escape harder and more fun. With the game becoming more like simulation i would of thought you would stop if you hit a police of total, but no. You can still make cops going rolling after hitting them at 200mph with out totaling the car. The story mode of the game should last about 15-18 hours but that doesn’t stop the fun after with the online experience. you could have a game of cops and robbers of simply just race. Overall Need for Speed Undercover is game designed for the thrill of the chase.

Midnight club la is a cracking game and will last you for ages because there is so much do, some to colect even when you finish the story line it doesn’t count as being completed. The handling is exreamly sensitive which makes the game exciting to play. The races themselves makes you think alot because you have to watch the road and use the minimap, which you can hardly see to find out when the next corner will be. But the one great thing about La is that you don’t have to win every race to progress in the game. Midnight club has now got cops which can arrest you which is a suprise because in previous games they would only show in some races but all they did was slow you down, but now they have two settings for when your in free roam: pull over and pursuit. to be pulled over u can do one of many things: speed; drive on the wrong side of the road;drive through a round about; hit and run; driving off road or any other offence. You can get in a pursuit by stree racing or not pulling over. The best part of being pulled over is when the officer walks to your car, just floor it he runs back to his car and chases you. You find it really funny the first few times you do it. In the end Midnight club is a very worth game.

After reveiwing both games i can now say that Mignight club is the racer to get this christmas because its great all rounder. you don’t even have to be skilled to play it. you can have fun at any age and most of all it will last you.
