Making an Mmorpg for Free!

Game engine’s

A game engine is the place where you create your game, place the models you made etc. There are muliple game engine’s that would be suitable to create an mmorpg. I will be showing you one that is specially designed to create mmorpg’s and is free to use. If you want to commercially launch it you will need an engine that is 99 dollars, which is really cheap and you would have to pay no more royalties at all.

Torque MMO kit

The torque mmo kit is the engine I am talking about, it is by far the best engine I saw and you can easily set up an mmorpg like wow or rs within 2 hours (you will still need to add your own maps and content etc). Most engines require a lot of coding knowledge, but this engine is easy to use and learn. It’s like a makegame.exe button.

Where can I find the Torque mmo kit?

You can download the Torque MMO kit here

You will need the dev files which can be downloaded here

and any version of the MMO kit. I personnaly recommand Torque 1.3.5 MMO Kit V1.3 SP2 but it’s up to you what version you want to use. You will need to install a lot of files, so you can find the install instructions here. You can also find tutorials on how to build your game and starting to learn python here.

All the files you download are zip files. If you don’t know how you can extract them use this tutorial.
