Starcraft 2: The New Trilogy

Starcraft 2: The all-intense sequel to Starcraft: Brood War!

Most of you must have heard about starcraft 2. Development for this game started in 2007, about the same time Warcraft 3 came out. In fact, Starcraft 2 has similar graphics to Warcraft! This makes it an all popular choice for gamers worldwide! You like Lineage? Starcraft? Warcraft? Diablo? Well, then this game’s just for you!

An ambitious project, Starcraft 2 will release 3 different versions, for 3 different campaigns. The first one, Wings of Liberty, is set to rotate around the Terrans, or humans. There are new units which replace the old ones, such as the almighty Thor! The first game is set around the hero Jim Raynor. He and his raiders go about, doing all of their business. You also meet Zeratul, a dark templar, in some parts of the campaign.

The next version of the game, currently not developed, is “Heart of the Swarm,” and revolves against the”Pro”taginist of the series, the Queen of Blades, otherwise known as Sarah Kerrigan. Controlling almost the entire zerg swarm, Kerrigan has become extremely powerful. Your main role in this campaign is to control Kerrigan in an RPG style game. You progress through the game, and take control of more broods and zerg. The point is, controlling more zerg= more power.

The last one, Legacy of the void, is not started yet. However, it is said it will revolve around Zeratul. You are the new Protoss Ambassador, sending out orders and forces to the different corners of the Universe, and also hoping to find out more about the Xel’Naga, the creators of the zerg and co-created the protoss. As it has not been started, very little is known about this one.

The game, in just two words, is JUST AWESOME. The graphics are better than Warcraft, and you don’t even need to go out and buy it! Yep, just what I said! You don’t need to go out and buy it! It’s distributed through digital communication, like when you buy a membership for runescape or something. It’s like that. All 3 of them are focused mainly on multiplayer skirmish, and the units are just more powerful, and are hungry for more! I can’t keep revealing all the secrets, but check out my next article soon about Starcraft 2!
